In addition to bringing changes visually, Windows 11 is guaranteed to provide a better performance increase than Windows 10, even though in the same hardware. This is based on a claim from Microsoft through a video on the Microsoft Mechanics YouTube channel.
In the video, Vice President of the Windows Management team, Steve Dispensa, explains there are at least four important points why Windows 11 will be better than Windows 10 in terms of performance. Among them:
- Improved management of RAM and CPU prioritizing currently used applications.
- In the browser (Edge), the currently active tab will be prioritized to get RAM intake up to 32% and CPU up to 37%.
- Optimization in terms of power management, which can increase performance up to 30% faster than Windows 10.
- The size of the Windows 11 update that has decreased is about 40% smaller than Windows 10.
But of course remember, this is only based on test claims from Microsoft. Users may find different performance, based on the hardware and software they are using.
